travel europe switzerland gimmelwald walter's hotel / hotel mittaghorn
In 1994, we were finally able to stay at the Hotel Mittaghorn, better known as Walter's Hotel, a simple comfy little place recommended by Rick Steves.
There are a few simple rooms and an attic dormitory where there are multiple beds that are shared by many different parties.
The real attraction of Walter's Hotel is it's isolation from most of the tourists and the rustic good humor of the guests and hotel itself.
